Sue is a graduate from Winchester College, England, UK, where she earnt a 1st Class Degree in Design & Technology. Her career has gone from Glass Blower at age 19 through to Design Engineer, Teacher, Educational Product Designer and business owner. However, her life-long ambition to capture the likeness of a person in a drawing has stayed with her since childhood. All through her varied career was the search for her true self and her purpose in life: to be an Artist.
Sue used solely graphite until 2016 when she received a random Christmas present of 6 pastel pencils from her sister. That moment changed her life as she immediately became intrigued by the medium. She fell in love with pastels and discovered Unison Pastels after searching for the perfect brand to suit her techniques.
Sue is an award-winning artist and paints daily. She paints exclusively in soft pastel, working on commissions of children, adults, pets and horses. She teaches her local class members once a week and runs her own workshops as well as demonstrations and workshops for Art Societies. Sue also teaches online to Artists of all levels from all over the world. Sue is an active member of her local Art Society and a committee member.
