A 5 part series where I show an experimental and fun way of using Clairefontaine Pastelmat to achieve crisp details for a complicated subject matter ie; hedgerows.
In this 1st part I shall show you a particular way of scratching the surface of Clairefontaine Pastelmat with a wooden golf tee or mini barbecue stick before laying down pastel to achieve a crisp, fine detail otherwise impossible with pastel.
Very clear and well structured course. I really enjoyed it, has given me some great ideas for my pastel art. Thanks Cathy !

I have watched these tutorials so many times. I have found they are great to go to when you are staring at that blank page and don’t know where or how to begin. They are little snippets of inspiration to get you going. Give them a try.
Thank you Cathy 🙂
