Loes Botman has been drawing exclusively with pastels for over 30 years. Her great love for animals is clearly visible in her drawings. The animals around her are Loes’ main source of inspiration. Pastel crayons help her to avoid going into too much detail and to choose surprising colours.
She is a member of The Austin Pastel Society America. And recently won the Britta Herzog Award for Creativity 2023 there. She gives many workshops in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, france and also in America. She has also exhibited in all these countries and has over 260 exhibitions to her name.
