Our very own Associate Artist Michelle Lucking appears in the most recent edition of Artist & Illustrator Magazine.
It was the pastel work of Zaria Forman that inspired her to take up the tools again and she soon became addicted to pastels immediate & tactile nature.
To my mind nothing beats their (Unison pastels) buttery texture & vibrant colours.

The aim of the colour wheel set is actually to help you learn the basics of colour theory and not as an ultimate set of colours with which to paint every picture.
My reason for creating this large seascape was born out of sudden grief and despair related to a loved one. The dramatic shift in my circumstances led me to be cast out to sea in a whirlwind of turbulent emotion.
I am really excited to be sharing this blog with you. The view is looking over the western side of the North Tyne Valley, towards Dallycastle in Northumberland.
