Workshop: Yorkshire Dales in Pastels with Robert Dutton 1

Unison Colour have joined up with Shop Keep Arty & are sponsoring a Live workshop with one of our Associate Artist’s Robert Dutton!

Robert will be showing you how to create a pastel painting using various techniques during the 2-3 hour live session on the 21st July at 3.30pm (UK).

Using the reference photo below, learn how to create an expressive pastel painting of a beautiful Yorkshire Dales, with barns and stone walls, exploring light and shade in summer light.

Work with Robert, step-by-step and discover how to create sumptuous layers of pastels to create textures, rich luminous shadows and dazzling highlights for a fantastic three dimensional looking painting that is sure to impress!

Anti-Twilight Arch

I feel particularly blessed to be living in the Wiltshire countryside with its huge open spaces and beautiful sweeping plains. Also I feel incredibly lucky to be living in a position where I see this view of what we locally call Oliver’s Castle.
